My what a lovely car. More details after the bump.

It was solid, had good grip, and pulled like a turbocharged i6 should. For the price it is a terrific value.

My only quim is the agressively bolstered seats. I thought they were fine, but I am 95% sure my Fiancee will want the softer seats found in the T5.

Other thoughts, 50kph full auto brake feature is cool, and so are the blind spot lights. Interior styling is somewhat conservative (especially compared to the cts wagon) but everything is well thought out and trim highlights help keep the interior a bland mess. Oh, and the brown seating arrangement is awesome.

The steering sensitivity/feedback is adjustable and sport mode makes the vehicle pretty lively. Not omg is that a lambo? lively, but hey wanna see something cool? Lively.

Time to convince the missus that she likes aggressively bolstered seats, haha.

"Interior styling is somewhat conservative" I really like the last 14 years of Volvo interior design . Clean and simple. the main reason I want a s40/v50/c30 is the waterfall console, and smooth dash design.

My wife wants one. She had one for a few days when the dealer had her XC70, and it changed her mind about another Volvo for our growing kids. We were thinking XC90, but her parents have one and we're not fans. I want to dislike crossovers, or whatever you want to call them, but I think they got it right with this one....

If you think the seats are too bolstered, you're not doing it right. Just sayin'.

That looks like it should be the dash of a closed-cockpit prototype racers.

I don't know why.

What is this auto brake feature? If some nut in front of you brakes, this will too?

It only does it at the last possible moment, also, if you are already on the brakes, or swerve the steering wheel it doesn't engage as it assumes you are in control.

The auto brake works well, at least at lower speeds. Wife has a '13 S60 AWD and one of those guys selling papers or flowers or some such thing at an intersection fell in front of her while she was rolling....car stopped itself.

Apparently they upped the system from 30-50kph
